Curriculum development

The core of the Knowhow methodology is that tactile learning is an important and valuable learning method that opens new possibilities to individuals and benefits society as a whole. Tactile approach boosts professional connections between various sectors of art, design, craft and industry.

In the current Knowhow II project, a 2 year curriculum, for new study lines in Drawing and Textiles at RSVA and The Reykjavik Technical College, will be developed on the basis of the tactile learning approach accumulated in Knowhow. At the same time a model of Transparency, a QUALIFICATION FRAMEWORK, focusing on an adaptation to the European Qualification Framework (EQF) and the National Qualification Framework (NQF) in Iceland will be developed, including an adaptation of all the partner schools to the European Credit system for VET (ECVET), thus ensuring a credit transfer between the schools.
