HOW CAN WE MAKE THE INTERACTION BETWEEN SCHOOLS AND THE CREATIVE SECTOR MORE VIBRANT AND ENERGETIC?
For the last few decades, industrial and creative production has increasingly moved
outside Europe. At the same time, concerned consumers and producers are interested
in a more efficient and better use of raw materials at, or close to, their source.
Today the added value of raw materials in Iceland is similar to nations with much lower educational levels. The export value of the gaming industry in Iceland has grown faster than any other industry in the last few years. How can we more efficiently and innovatively produce goods that are well crafted, made from Icelandic materials, using our traditions, heritage and contemporary know-how?
